Who operates Copperlane
Copperlane is operated by Aeternum. Contact us at marcussen.business@hotmail.com for support or privacy questions.
Progress and settings on your device
Your workshop, achievements, settings and offline production are saved locally using device preferences. Copperlane does not require an account and does not upload your save to a game server. Core play works offline. Clearing app data or uninstalling can remove your progress; use the save export in Settings to keep a copy. Your device or operating system may include app data in its own backup service, according to your backup settings.
Local age-band choice
Copperlane is intended for players aged 13 and over. Its local age-band screen offers the choices under 13, 13–17, 18 or over, and not now. No choice is selected for you. Copperlane does not ask for a birthdate or exact age. The choice is stored separately on your device; Copperlane does not send the chosen band to a game server or advertising service, or include it in workshop save backups, save exports or diagnostic exports. It remains until you change it or clear app or browser data; resetting the workshop does not change this separate setting.
If an under-13 or unselected profile uses the app, core play remains available without advertising. Copperlane does not start Google's advertising or privacy-check services for those profiles. In the native app, the policy remains readable locally and external website and email links are disabled for those profiles. Choosing an older band is a local advertising control, not verification of age or parental consent.
Optional local diagnostics
Play diagnostics are off by default. If you enable them, gameplay events stay on your device and are not sent to Aeternum or an analytics service. They do not include your age-band choice. Exporting a save or diagnostic file creates a file for you to keep or share. If you email a file to support, we receive the content you choose to send.
Optional advertising for older selected profiles
After a 13–17 or 18-or-over band is selected and confirmed, Copperlane can offer extra production, coins or parts after a completed rewarded advertisement. Watching is optional. Declining, closing an ad early or having no ad available keeps your existing progress and allows normal play. There are no advertising offers for under-13 or unselected profiles.
For an older selected profile with valid publisher advertising configuration, Google's User Messaging Platform can check applicable privacy requirements when that choice is confirmed or when the installed app opens with that choice saved. This check can contact Google before you choose to watch an ad. The Mobile Ads SDK initializes only after the privacy check and when you choose an available rewarded offer. If configuration or privacy checks fail, advertising stays unavailable. Builds without valid publisher configuration make no production ad or consent requests.
Data handled by Google's advertising services
For older selected profiles that use these services, Google's SDKs may collect and share approximate location inferred from an IP address, interactions with ads and the app, diagnostic or performance information, and device or other identifiers, such as an app set ID. These may be used for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. They are handled by Google and its advertising partners under their respective policies. Non-personalized advertising and privacy checks can still involve data processing.

Restricted ad treatment
All advertisements that Copperlane requests for older selected profiles use Google's child-directed treatment, general-audience content limit and non-personalized ad request setting. Its separate privacy-check service uses under-age-of-consent treatment. Android advertising ID and AdServices permissions are removed. Copperlane does not request Apple's tracking authorization. These settings do not disable every form of SDK data processing.
Privacy choices
You can revisit the local age-band choice in Settings. Under-13 or unselected choices block new advertising requests; changing the choice does not delete information that Google previously received. For an older selected profile, Settings → Native ad privacy options can reopen Google's privacy form when required and available. Under-age-of-consent treatment may mean Google does not request a consent form. You can always decline rewarded ads and keep playing. Your operating system may also provide advertising and privacy controls.
Reminders and other permissions
Offline workshop reminders are off by default. If you choose to enable them, Copperlane asks your operating system for notification permission and schedules an occasional reminder locally. You can disable reminders in the game or revoke permission in system settings. The game does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, camera or photos access.
Support messages and retention
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any files you attach. We use these to respond and investigate the issue. Do not include passwords or payment information. Local game data remains until you reset it, clear app data or uninstall. For data handled by Google or your operating system, consult those services' policies and controls.
Access and deletion
You can reset your local workshop in Settings and disable local diagnostics. To ask about a support message you have sent, or to exercise applicable privacy rights, contact us using the address below. We cannot locate or restore a workshop that exists only on your device.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when Copperlane's features or data handling change. The date above identifies the current policy.
